Start with the payment architecture

Attriboo vs Swetrix

Choose how revenue enters your analytics, then check the reports.

Both tools connect analytics with payments. Attriboo supports several payment connections per website. Swetrix documents one active revenue source per project and adds broader performance and experimentation tools. Compare the setup your team can maintain.

Keep every transaction explainable

Map Your Providers Before Connecting Them

List each payment provider, currency and checkout flow. In Attriboo, choose the website, open Setup → Connect your payment provider and follow each provider's instructions. The connection guide explains which records and history are supported.

  1. Choose the ingestion route.

Swetrix's API reference explains why its API feed cannot run alongside an active built-in provider for the same project.

  2. Preserve visitor matching.

Follow the checkout instructions and keep stable payment identifiers. A revenue total can exist even when the associated visit cannot be found.

  3. Reconcile payments and refunds separately.

Compare IDs, amounts, dates and currency with the provider ledger. Do not send the same business payment through overlapping connections without checking duplicate behavior.

For today's records in Attriboo, open Watch visits become customers → Live activity and select Refunds. The context and numbered controls below show where to inspect the recorded deduction.

  1. Filter to refunds

Select Refunds to show the recorded deductions in the activity feed. This does not change the historical reporting range above the dashboard.

  2. Check the net total

Read net revenue with the payment and refund counts underneath. The amount is before fees and other business costs.

  3. Inspect the recorded event

The refund row shows its recorded amount and available source and location. Reconcile it with the provider record before interpreting source revenue.

The revenue guide explains the difference between payment records and revenue credit assigned to sources.

Count the right events

Include the Features and Maintenance You Need

Swetrix's Standard and Plus plans differ in features, account limits and API allowance. Its event definition includes error events as well as pageviews and custom events. Estimate the workload for each product separately.

Your recorded workload

Work Out Your Attriboo Allowance

Use pageviews and custom goals. Payments do not count as these events. Bot requests have a separate allowance. These inputs stay in your browser.

10,000 events / month$5 / month

Up to 10,000 monthly events. Billed monthly.

Review all allowances and terms

Compare the same measured workload with Swetrix's current plans. This calculator quotes Attriboo only; it does not estimate another vendor's bill or convert visitors into events. Attriboo's report window and event-row limit still apply.

Attriboo's calculator quotes its hosted allowance only. If you choose self-hosting, add infrastructure, updates and backups to your evaluation. Check Attriboo's 365-day and 250,000-event complete-load guard separately from the monthly billing allowance.

Your remaining questions

Before You Choose Attriboo or Swetrix

Use these answers to resolve the reporting, setup and switching questions that can change your decision.

When is Attriboo a good Swetrix alternative?

Consider Attriboo when your main task is source-level revenue reporting with several supported payment connections on one website. Verify matching, currency, history and reporting scope first. Swetrix is worth evaluating when its performance investigation, experimentation or self-hosted edition is central to your requirements.

Can Swetrix use Stripe and Paddle in the same project?

Its revenue guide says one revenue source can be active per project. Choose Stripe, Paddle or an API feed. If you need a combined backend feed, check that implementation separately and prevent duplicate transactions. Attriboo documents multiple supported provider connections per website, but each connection still needs its own matching and record checks.

Can I send custom revenue while a Swetrix provider connection is active?

Swetrix's revenue API documentation says a request returns 409 Conflict when a Stripe or Paddle key is already connected to the project. It requires choosing one ingestion route. Before changing routes, plan stable transaction identifiers, refunds, currency and visitor matching, and retain the records needed to reconcile the change.

Does Swetrix handle refunds and subscriptions?

Yes. Its revenue guide documents Stripe and Paddle sales, subscriptions and refunds, with automatic sync every 30 minutes. Its API supports those transaction types too. Compare the same payment period and refund treatment in Attriboo; a provider's ledger and revenue attributed to recorded visits can have different scope.

Is a free self-hosted tool the same cost as Attriboo's free plan?

No. Swetrix offers a self-hosted Community Edition, while Attriboo's ongoing free allowance is a hosted service for one website. Self-hosting also needs infrastructure, updates, backups and someone responsible for the installation. Compare that work with the reporting features and account limits you need before deciding which option costs less for your team.

Do the two products count the same events for billing?

Not necessarily. Swetrix's pricing page includes pageviews, custom events and error events in its event definition. Attriboo's pricing counts pageviews and custom goals, with a separate crawler allowance. Estimate the workload for each tool independently and check the selected plan and billing term; visitors are not interchangeable with events.

How should I evaluate visitor-to-payment matching?

Record a known arrival, preserve the tool's visitor identifiers through checkout and confirm the resulting transaction once. Swetrix documents profile and session identifiers for this link. In Attriboo, follow the chosen payment provider's instructions. Compare the records before comparing source credit, and investigate payments with no matching visit.
