AI crawl tracking for revenue reportingAvailable now

See who crawls your pages. Check who visits and buys.

AI discovery leaves different kinds of evidence. Attriboo logs supported AI crawler requests from your server, records eligible human visits through your website script, and brings in sales through payment connections. Read those signals together without confusing them.

For SEO and AEO teams who want to understand AI activity alongside actual business results.

Keep the signals clear
AI crawl trackingAttriboo
  • Server signalCrawler requests

WordPress or Cloudflare reports supported bot requests.

  • Visitor signalHuman AI referrals

The website script records eligible visits with a recognizable source.

  • Payment signalRecorded sales

Payment information can be matched to available visitor activity.

Three separate signals, not a matched crawl-to-citation-to-sale funnel. A bot request does not prove a citation, recommendation, or purchase.

The useful part

A clearer view of what brings customers.

See which pages get requested

Use crawler records to investigate which pages AI services request, which bots appear, and what response statuses are reported. These requests happen on the server, outside the browser script.

Separate software from people

A crawler request is not a customer visit. Keep bot activity apart from recorded human referrals, so software fetching a page does not become a misleading audience count.

Bring the question back to revenue

Look at eligible AI-referred visits and the sales that can be matched to them. A page with crawler activity is a starting point for investigation, not evidence that a recommendation produced revenue.

Getting started

A few steps. A useful question to answer.

Read the AI crawler setup guide
  1. Choose WordPress or Cloudflare

Open Setup → Track AI crawlers. Use the WordPress plugin for a WordPress site, or a Worker for a site proxied through Cloudflare. You only need one logging method.

  2. Follow the instructions for your site

Setup provides your website ID and the relevant plugin or Worker code. Keep the workspace API key in the server-side settings described by the guide.

  3. Check the first crawler request

Setup marks the source as receiving after a valid report arrives. Review crawler activity separately from human AI visits and attributed sales.

Before you connect

Know what the reports can tell you.

Why does this need a separate integration?

AI crawlers generally do not run your browser tracking script. A WordPress plugin or Cloudflare Worker reports their requests to Attriboo directly.

Which AI services can appear?

Supported user agents include OAI-SearchBot, GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, Claude bots, Perplexity bots, and others in the logging rules. User-agent identification is a reported signal, not independent proof of the requester's identity.

Does a bot count prove AI visibility?

No. A request does not show whether a page was indexed, cited, recommended, or used to answer a question. Google-Extended and Applebot-Extended are robots.txt control tokens rather than loggable user agents.

A few common questions

AI crawl tracking, explained simply.

Does installing the website script log crawlers?

No. The browser script records eligible visits. Set up the WordPress plugin or Cloudflare Worker to send supported server-side crawler requests.

Can Attriboo see a person's private AI conversation?

No. Crawler records and referral information do not reveal someone's private prompt or conversation. A recognizable referral only describes the recorded source of a visit.

Do I need to change my robots.txt rules?

Logging requests does not require you to grant a bot access you would otherwise block. Your own access and robots rules still determine which requests reach your pages.

Does the WordPress plugin also send store orders?

Its optional WooCommerce setting can send new orders and refunds. This is separate from crawler logging, and it does not import orders from before the plugin was installed.
