A simplified explanation of a matched journey. Some payments have no matching visit and remain unattributed.
The useful part
A clearer view of what brings customers.
Connect the product story to the sale
Review the pages people visited before buying. See how a product page, pricing page, or campaign appears in the available journey.
Include recurring purchases
Report on one-time orders, first subscription payments, and renewals. Later payments can follow a buyer already linked to your website.
Compare more than audience size
A small source can be worth investigating when it brings buyers. Review visitors, credited revenue, and conversion together before changing your marketing.
Connect your website
Add your tracking script and check the first visit in Attriboo. This is separate from connecting payments.
Add your Polar connection
In Setup, choose Polar and follow the organization-token instructions. Attriboo checks the required permissions and creates the webhook.
Check your imported orders
Read the connection result and review your sales report. Use the same website, currency, and dates when comparing with Polar.
Before you connect
Know what the reports can tell you.
What does the Polar connection record?
Paid orders and refunds, including one-time purchases, new subscriptions, and renewals. Recorded order revenue is before tax, because Polar handles the tax as merchant of record.
How much history is imported?
The connection checks paid and refunded orders from the last 90 days, up to 1,000 orders. Earlier website visits are not recreated by the import.
How does matching work?
The tracking script adds a reference to supported Polar checkout links. Server-created checkouts can include the visitor reference in metadata. Known customer and identified-email matches are also used where available.
A few common questions
Polar, explained simply.
Is this the same as paying for Attriboo through Polar?
No. This integration connects your own Polar sales to your website reports. Attriboo's subscription billing is a separate use of Polar.
Can I use a sandbox account?
The connection detects Polar sandbox tokens and labels the connection as Sandbox. Review that label before treating figures as live revenue.
Does this change my checkout?
Polar continues to process the payment. Attriboo adds a visitor reference to supported checkout links so a later order can be linked to a recorded visit.
What happens when I disconnect?
The connection removes its Polar webhook and stored credentials. Previously imported sales remain in your reports; new payments stop arriving through that connection.
