See what brought your Stripe customers in.

Stripe tells you a payment happened. Attriboo brings that payment together with recorded website visits, so you can see the sources and pages associated with your customers.

For founders and marketers selling through Stripe Checkout, Payment Links, or Billing.

  1. DiscoveryA source

Search, an ad, an AI referral, or another recorded source.

  2. WebsiteA recorded visit

The visitor explores your pages before checkout.

  3. PaymentStripe payment

A completed payment is sent to Attriboo.

  4. DecisionRevenue by source

Compare credited sales and choose your next action.

A simplified explanation of a matched journey. Some payments have no matching visit and remain unattributed.

The useful part

A clearer view of what brings customers.

Follow purchases back to visits

Look at the available journey before a completed checkout. Compare credited revenue from search, ads, social posts, newsletters, and AI referrals.

Keep subscriptions in the picture

New subscriptions and later paid invoices are recorded separately. Where a customer can be matched, renewals follow the original buyer.

Make the next campaign decision

Review visits beside credited revenue instead of choosing a channel from visitor counts alone. Keep the same dates and attribution model when comparing.

Getting started

A few steps. A useful question to answer.

Read the payment connection guide
  1. Add and check your website

Install the Attriboo tracking script from Setup. Open your published site and check that a visit arrives.

  2. Connect Stripe in Setup

An owner or admin adds a restricted Stripe key using the permissions shown on screen. Attriboo creates the payment webhook for you.

  3. Review sales and their sources

Check the import result, then open the revenue and source reports. A historical payment may have no earlier tracked visit.

Before you connect

Know what the reports can tell you.

What payments are included?

The connection records paid Checkout and Payment Link purchases, subscription invoices, and refund updates. Custom PaymentIntents outside Checkout or Billing are not supported by this connection.

Can I import past Stripe sales?

The initial import checks the last 90 days, up to 1,000 paid Checkout Sessions and 1,000 invoices. It imports payments, not website traffic or source information that was never recorded.

How are checkouts matched?

The script adds a visitor reference to supported Payment Links. A developer creating Checkout Sessions can pass that reference too. Known customer and identified-email matches provide additional ways to link a payment.

A few common questions

Stripe, explained simply.

Does Attriboo replace Stripe?

No. Stripe continues to handle your payments. Attriboo uses authorized payment information to help you understand the recorded marketing journey.

Does the connection move money?

The restricted key uses read access for Checkout Sessions and Invoices, plus permission to create webhook endpoints. Attriboo does not use it to move money. Follow the permissions shown in Setup.

Can I test it first?

A restricted test key connects Stripe test mode. Keep test and live results distinct, and use your live connection when you want reports about real payments.

Are refunds part of reporting?

Refund updates are recorded as negative amounts. The historical import covers Checkout Sessions and invoices; it does not import refunds that happened before connection.
