Import ad spend from Google Ads, Meta and Microsoft
Attriboo can read what you spend on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) ads, then compare it with the sales each campaign brought in. It only reads spend. It never changes your ads, budgets or settings.
Connect your ad account
- Choose your website in Attriboo, then open Setup.
Find step 4, Import ad spend.
- Select Connect Google Ads, Connect Meta Ads or Connect Microsoft Advertising.
If the buttons say Available soon, this connection isn't switched on yet. You can still type spend next to a campaign on the dashboard. For Microsoft Advertising, choose Sign in with Microsoft or Sign in with Google, whichever you use to sign in at ads.microsoft.com.
- Sign in and allow Attriboo to view your ad accounts.
Use the login that can see the ad account for this website.
- Tick the ad accounts that belong to this website, then select Import spend.
Attriboo imports the last 90 days, then updates spend every morning.
Tag your ad links so spend matches your campaigns
Attriboo matches each ad campaign to the campaign label (utm_campaign) on the links people click. Setup shows the exact line to copy for each platform under Manage.
Google Ads: Admin → Account settings → Tracking → Final URL suffix: utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign={campaignid}
Meta: on each ad, Tracking → URL parameters: utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign={{campaign.name}}
Microsoft Advertising: turn on auto-tagging under Campaigns → Settings → Account level options (Add UTM tags to my landing page URLs). It labels each visit with the campaign name. Or set the Final URL suffix to utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign={CampaignId}
Names match even when capital letters, spaces, dashes or underscores differ, so "Spring Sale" matches spring_sale. A campaign with no matching label still appears, under its own name.
What you'll see
- Campaign spend on the dashboard shows From Google Ads, From Meta Ads or From Microsoft Ads. Change spend in the ad platform; the next sync brings it in.
- Spend is shown in your ad account's currency without conversion. Setup warns you when that differs from your website's currency.
- If your Meta sign-in has an expiry date (often 60 days), Setup warns you a week before and shows Reconnect.
- Disconnecting stops updates. Spend already imported stays, and you can edit it by hand again.
You are done when
Setup shows the platform as connected with a recent sync, and your campaigns show spend from it.
