How to install Attriboo on Wix
Use Wix’s Custom Code settings to add Attriboo to all pages. Choose Head placement and load the code once. Attriboo handles supported page changes after the first load.
Instructions reviewed
Before you start
- Your Wix site must be published with a connected domain and access to custom code. Check your plan and permissions if the option is missing.
- Add that published domain in Attriboo.
- Use the dashboard’s Custom Code setting, rather than a visible HTML embed or iframe on the page.
Copy the script for this website
- Choose your website in Attriboo.
Check the address in the website selector. Add the website first if it is not listed.
- Open Setup and choose Wix.
Under Add the tracking script to your website, find Where is your site built? Choose this platform, then use Copy beside Your code. This gives you the right code format with your website ID filled in.
Add Custom Code in Wix
Find this setting
- Settings
- Development & integrations
- Custom Code
- Add Custom Code
- Open Custom Code from the site dashboard.
Select Add Custom Code and paste the full Attriboo script. Name it Attriboo so you can find it later.
- Choose All pages and Load code once.
This installs the tracker without re-running the loader on every internal page change.
- Choose Head placement, then Apply.
Confirm the snippet is enabled. Keep one Attriboo installation for this website.
Check that page visits reach Attriboo
- Open the published website in another tab.
Use the address your customers visit. Make your normal tracking choice if a consent banner appears.
- Return to the same website in Attriboo → Setup.
Select Test Connection. Look for a successful result such as Verified Live or activity on the correct address.
- Follow an internal link, then use your browser’s Back button.
Check those paths in the Pages view for the current reporting dates. Allow the reports to refresh. An active connection alone does not confirm every page change.
What if I change the Wix domain
Wix associates custom snippets with a domain. Recheck the Custom Code entry when you assign a different domain, and make sure Attriboo is set up for the published address you now use.
Test a second page after a domain change. Seeing a script in the Wix dashboard is not proof that the live site loads it.
If Wix blocks the script
Wix applies frontend security rules to custom code. If the script does not load or the browser reports an error, include the public page address and error text in a support request. Do not weaken the site’s security settings to force tracking to run.
Connect visits to recorded revenue
Installing the script records website activity. To bring sales into Attriboo, connect the service you use to collect payments in Setup as well. Then compare the recorded sources and customer journeys behind your sales.
A payment imported from before tracking was installed may have no matching visit. Installing today does not recreate old website activity.
Does this also connect Wix payments
This method adds website tracking. It does not create a native Wix order connection. Use a supported payment integration that matches your checkout, or ask about the API for a custom sales connection.

You are done when
The enabled site-wide snippet sends visits from the published Wix domain and respects your tracking choices.
