Connect TikTok Ads and compare costs with sales

The TikTok Ads connection imports campaign reports. Attriboo's website script and payment connections provide the separate visits and payment records used for revenue attribution.

Instructions reviewed

Before you connect

  • Use a workspace owner or admin account in Attriboo and a TikTok login authorized to read the intended ad accounts.
  • Check your website tracking and supported payment connection if you want to compare spend with recorded sales.
  • Choose TikTok ad accounts in the same currency as this website. Attriboo does not convert currencies.
  • Available soon means Attriboo's TikTok app is not enabled yet. Credentials and TikTok approval are required before a real account can authorize it.

Connect and choose accounts

  1. Choose your website and open Setup → Import ad spend.

Select Connect TikTok Ads when the connection is enabled.

  2. Sign in to TikTok and review the app permissions.

Authorize the ad accounts you want Attriboo to read. The sign-in must return to the same browser where you started.

  3. Choose the accounts for this website and select Import spend.

A single authorized account is selected automatically. The first import requests 90 days; later daily imports refresh the latest 30 days.

  4. Open Manage and check the last successful sync.

Check one known campaign/date against TikTok, using the same account currency and reporting dates.

Read the two purchase views correctly

  • Campaign costs are labeled From TikTok Ads and follow the dashboard's selected reporting dates.
  • Manage shows TikTok-reported website purchases and purchase value for the explicitly shown last-import window. These figures depend on TikTok's event setup and attribution rules.
  • Not reported means a metric was unavailable. Zero means TikTok returned zero for that metric and scope.
  • TikTok's report does not create payment transactions in Attriboo. Your connected payment provider supplies the recorded sales and supported refunds used by Attriboo's revenue metrics.

Limits and connection problems

  • This campaign-level connection does not import TikTok Shop orders, GMV Max reports, Branded Mission advertiser-level reports or app purchase events.
  • It does not install TikTok Pixel, upload Events API data, edit ads or change budgets.
  • If authorization or reports fail, check your advertiser access and the app's approved read permissions, then reconnect. A report failure is shown in Setup.
  • Disconnect stops future imports and removes the stored token. Existing imported campaign totals become manual spend under the current connection behavior.

You are done when

Your chosen TikTok accounts show a recent successful import, costs are identified as From TikTok Ads, and TikTok-reported purchases remain separate from payment revenue.
