How to install Attriboo on Carrd

Add Attriboo to Carrd with a hidden Head embed. Publish the site so the script can run on the website your visitors actually open.

Instructions reviewed

Before you start

Carrd requires Pro Standard or higher for custom-code embeds. You need access to edit and publish the site. Add its published address in Attriboo first.

Add the published domain in Attriboo. Keep one tracking installation and preserve your site’s consent choices. Your website ID is public; private API keys do not belong in the page script.

Copy the script for this website

  1. Choose your website in Attriboo.

Check the address in the website selector. Add the website first if it is not listed.

  2. Open Setup and choose Carrd.

Under Add the tracking script to your website, find Where is your site built? Choose this platform, then use Copy beside Your code. This gives you the right code format with your website ID filled in.

Add Attriboo to Carrd

Find this setting

  1. Carrd editor
  2. Add Element → Embed
  3. Code → Hidden → Head
  4. Publish
  1. Choose Add Element, then Embed.

    Set Type to Code.

  2. Paste the HTML script from Setup.

Set Style to Hidden and choose Head as the location. Give the embed a label such as Attriboo.

  3. Publish the site.

Open the published address; an embed does not run as a normal visible element in the editor.

Code format example. Copy your filled-in version from Attriboo Setup.
<script defer data-site-id="site_YOUR_WEBSITE_ID" src="https://www.attriboo.com/t.js"></script>

Check this platform’s behavior

Carrd sections and scroll-point anchors normally remain on the same page. Attriboo does not count an ordinary #section as a separate pageview. For a specific action, use a configured goal instead of treating every section as another page.

Check the published Carrd site

  1. Open the published domain.

Make your normal consent choice, then return to the same website in Attriboo Setup and select Test Connection.

  2. Check the page in your reports.

Use the current reporting dates. A section anchor on this one-page site is still the same page; use a goal for a separate action you want to count.

Connect visits to recorded revenue

Installing the script records website activity. To bring sales into Attriboo, connect the service you use to collect payments in Setup as well. Then compare the recorded sources and customer journeys behind your sales.

A payment imported from before tracking was installed may have no matching visit. Installing today does not recreate old website activity.

Carrd references

These placement instructions were reviewed against the platform’s documentation and Attriboo’s current tracker. Check the published site after deployment, theme changes or navigation changes.

You are done when

The published Carrd site loads one Attriboo tracker and the expected page visits reach the selected website. Sales reporting is checked separately.
